Martha’s montage of favorites
Grandezza Model I had a very limited budget on this model, used a wallpaper on a board to create the cornice in the master bath. Tied in the greens and palm motif from the master bedroom.
Grandezza Model Master Bedroom created a faux finish accent headboard wall in a stylized palm leaf to compliment the bead spread.
Olde Cypress private home, I worked with the client from the ground up on their new home. The formal dining room, we picked up the pattern in the light fixtures and sconces and created a rug using those patterns and colors.
Olde Cypress This is the pool/guest bath off from the pool and great room. We used all the colors from the great room and created a “Mondrian” inspired faux finish for the whole bathroom. I then found the wonderful mirror for over the sink. I love this bathroom, so different.
Olde Cypress Guest Bedroom, This couple and most of their friends are avid golfers, we created a room in greens and pictures of 2 of the famous hole from Augusta National Golf Course over the headboard. Sweet Dreams of holes in one!
Private home, I worked with this couple after their builder went bankrupt, they needed help finishing their home. They had the master bed and end tables but nothing else in the room. We made all the bedding, drapes and reupholstered the 2 chairs that were brought in from the living room and purchased a custom ottoman, table and lamps.
They loved the Tuscan style and earth toned colors. I found a grape fabric to compliment the chandelier and a border they had painted around the ceiling.
I had worked with this woman on her previous home, she moved into The Moorings and needed help with her new home. She has an extensive art collection, which were the only things she brought to her new home. She wanted a “garden room” so we created a space that brought the outside in and where she could enjoy the morning light. The guest bedroom is her personal favorite room, we hung her etchings from Europe, cuckoo clock and created small stands for her antique glass light fixtures on either side of the bed. FYI after the picture was taken I covered the cords and tucked them behind the drapes, and painted them the wall color so you no longer see them. I have a thing about exposed cords!!!!
In the living room we created a custom glass coffee table that would display 3 of her fragile glass pieces. The base is thick heavy glass and the top of the table is sealed on to the base so it wont move if bumped. The sofa is large and provides extra seating for larger gatherings, she loves blues so we have different shades of blues in the fabrics the chairs. On the side chairs I was able to find a fabric that had all the colors of the glass and art work around the room without being garish or too busy. Yes the cardboard box was removed and recycled!!!!
